The purpose of this organization is to promote the oral tradition of storytelling in the community in all its forms: traditional, creative, educational, cultural, personal, and therapeutic.

Our intent is to nurture family, community, and professional storytelling throughout New Hampshire.

To this end the NHSA is organized as a non-profit corporation for artistic, educational, and charitable purposes.
